In 1956 he took his associates together with his son Knud Sehested into partnership in the name of STEEN SEHESTED AND PARTNERS. In the process of Malaysianisation, the name of Steen Sehested And Partners was changed to SEPAKAT SETIA PERUNDING in the 1970.
