Company History. 1982 Sam Mi Shik Poom was founded in Bronx, NY as an import and wholesale operation of Asian Food Products. 1989 Business name was changed to Seoul Shik Poom Inc (SSP) and the Choripdong brand was born. 1990 Comany moved to Flushing, New York. 1999 SSP expanded its distribution network to cental and southern regions by opening a represnetative office and distribution facility in the USA ( California, Atlanta). ...
