SBN Walzlager was founded in 1998 with just four employees. All the employees were former personnel of Schaeffler Walzlager (INA) with many years of experience in the international rolling bearing business. The first location was a startup centre in Homburg and the product range was covered by a catalogue with 18 pages. Due to the rapid growth of the company, larger business premises were urgently required. In 2000, an administrative building and a warehouse were formally opened.
