On July 27, 1967, it was born again as a Public Limited Company under a new name. Sakthi Finance Limited. A brand new Certificate of Incorporation was acquired from the Registrar of Companies, Madras. Sakthi Finance Limited issued its first Public issue of equity shares in 1984 and mobilized Rs. 75 lakh.
