The company S. Mentekidis S.A. started out in the bottling sector 25 years ago. Despite todays adverse business conditions, it continues its dynamic growth and expansion. In 2012, the company opened a new bottling plant for DIOS natural mineral water at Karitsa, Pieria, following an investment of more than 10 million euro, one of the biggest ever in the sector. It is an investment in high standards that safeguards the companys commitment to consumers in respect of quality and hygiene. DIOS plant, an energy class A building with a floor area of 6,000 m2 on a 15,000 m2 site owned by the company itself. It is equpiped with the most modern bottling equipment for PET plastic and glasss. At every stage of production, strict daily checks are carried out in the plants fully equipped microbiology laboratory by qualified and experienced personnel.
