Taste The Difference. Wines made from our home & native land Rosewood Estates Winery & Meadery is a local, family run boutique winery. Were small and we like it this way, it allows us to create small batch vintage driven wines. Rosewood is a winery, meadery and an apiary. As active beekeepers we also strive to make the highest quality honey, meads (honeywine), and VQA wines. 25 years ago, Rosewood owner Eugene Roman on his honeymoon in Niagara Falls promised his new wife Renata that they would one day develop a winery. 20 years later Rosewood was born and immediately became a family passion. Beginning in 2000 with the purchase of 40-acres on the remarkable Beamsville Bench, a vineyard was planted 3 years later. 2006 marked Rosewoods first vintage and the vintage came out with a bang with two gold medals one at the Ontario Wine Awards, 1 for Pinot Gris and 1 for Merlot.
