Founded by one of the Napa Valleys original mountain vineyard and nested AVA protagonists, Robert Craig, more than thirty years ago, Robert Craig Winery continues Bobs vision of producing classically structured wines from remote vineyards at high elevations. The wines each feature a piercing expression of site and the ability to cellar for the long haul. Situated on the summit of Howell Mountain in northeast Napa Valley at nearly 2300 of elevation, our winery remains one of the most picturesque, highly sought-after destinations for Mountain Cabernet lovers to visit each year, though only a lucky few will score a reservation. Our primary focus is on our portfolio of Howell Mountain wines (predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon) hailing from our two estate vineyards on Howell Mountain totaling 35 planted acres.
