RCBC LEASING AND FINANCE CORPORATION (RLFC) (formerly First Malayan Leasing and Finance Corporation) is a domestic corporation registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on October 27, 1982. It is engaged in the leasing and financing business as well as deposit taking activities as it also holds a quasi-banking license. On March 12, 2012, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) acquired 97.79% ownership interest in RCBC Leasing. On October 17, 2012 and February 14, 2013, the SEC and the Bureau of Internal Revenue issued their respective approvals of RCBC Leasings application for the change in its corporate name from First Malayan Leasing and Finance Corporation to RCBC Leasing and Finance Corporation.
