Ramsey Ambulance Corps

The Ramsey Ambulance Corps is a volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) organization providing basic life support (BLS) services to the Borough of Ramsey and its surrounding communities. We are a member in good standing with the New Jersey First Aid Council and the Northwest Bergen Emergency Medical Services Association. Our fleet consists of two Basic Life Support Ambulances, Command Vehicle, a Rapid Response Vehicle, Logistical Support Trailer, Logistical Support Pick Up, and a Bike Team. Members serve on weekly duty crews ranging from four to twelve hour shifts, with many members regularly riding multiple shifts a week. During periods where there is not a complete crew on duty, the department relies on a call-in system. Ramsey is approximately a six square mile town with a population of approximately 14,500 residents.
