ProVeg UK

ProVeg is an international food awareness organisation with offices and representations in the UK, China, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Poland, South Africa and the US School Plates is ProVeg UKs flagship programme to help school meals to become healthier and more sustainable. We work with local authorities, multi-academy trusts, catering companies and individual schools offering a range of different services to increase the uptake of existing vegetarian meals and to increase the quantity of plant-based food available in schools. We focus on small, easy-to-implement changes, and, as a non-profit organisation, all our services are completely free of charge. We offer: -Menu review and advice to increase the uptake of existing vegetarian options. -New meal suggestions & new recipes (all nutritionally balanced & delicious). -Help to introduce meat-free days, as well as educational planet-themed days.
