Preston Baker was founded in 2008 by cousins Ian Preston and James Baker. With one branch and two staff members, they launched in Yorkshire as a franchise of Bairstow Eves at the beginning of what would prove to be one of the most challenging periods to the UK property market. Bucking market trends, their business expanded to four branches by 2011, when they decided to become an independent agency and rebranded the firm as Preston Baker Estate and Letting Agents.
