PHISEC Racing

PHISEC Racing was originally founded in 2006 by a small group of 7 students from Coimbra Institute of Engineering to take part in the largest student competition worldwide, Formula Student. Formula Student challenges engineering students to demonstrate their technical analysis, engineering design and manufacturing skills whilst having to meet a strict deadline. Since the founding year, the team has built 3 cars: - Phi 1, which competed as a prototype in 2007 and subsequently, in 2008 competed in the main class. - Phi 2 started being designed in 2008 and got to competition in 2009. - Phi 3 started in 2010. Back in the day, it was going to be the first FSE car built by a Portuguese FS Team. Unfortunately, it never got to competition. Currently, a new team is working towards a new objective, designing Phi 4E, an EV to compete in 2022 in Barcelona (https://www.formulastudent.es/)
