PALMET Group, formed in 1984, as an infrastructure contractor business has transformed into an integrated energy business covering natural gas distribution, power generation, gas and power trading. Our umbrella company, Palmet Enerji A.S. includes ownership of IZGAZ, PALGAZ and PALEN, three utilities that provide natural gas distribution services to Kocaeli, Greater Gebze and the entire Province of Erzurum. PALMET now serves more than 820 thousand subscribers in 2 provinces and 26 districts. Palmet Enerjis yearly gas trade volume is close 6 billion cubic meters (BCM), which corresponds roughly to 12 percent of annual gas consumption in Turkey.
