Ozotec is a technology-driven company founded in 2002 by Mr. K. Barathan. It initially gained success with the development of the Fixed Cellular Terminal (FCT), a device that enabled users to utilize the GSM network with their cable-operated phones, reducing monthly phone bills significantly. This innovation brought in good revenue for the company. In 2004, Ozotec recognized the need for technology in the textile industry and invented control panels and motors for textile industries, benefiting industrialists in the weaving sector. The Ministry of Textiles in India acknowledged the benefits of Ozotecs invention and provided a 50% subsidy through a scheme called In-situ Upgradation of Plain Power Looms.
