The Ozarks Counseling Center is a United Way member agency that has been providing quality affordable counseling to Springfield and the surrounding community for over fifty years. The center is governed by our Board of Directors. The center was established in 1951, then called the Child Guidance Clinic, to diagnose and treat children with emotional problems. Later, help was extended to parents with their own emotional problems as part of the treatment of their children.
