Oxford Law Society

The Oxford Law Society is one of the largest student societies in Oxford, and is run by students for students. Through our indulgent socials, informative presentations, publications and termly ball, we offer an unrivalled experience for our members. The Oxford Law Society is open to all members of Oxford University. Members do not have to be reading law: the society is open to those of any discipline, and indeed over half of our membership base comprises non-lawyers. LawSoc has an enviable reputation for holding some of the most popular and successful social events in Oxford. Sponsored social events are enable our members to meet with our sponsors on a more informal setting. Popular social events have included Presidents Drinks (sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills), Champagne & Chocolates, Pizza & Prosecco, Cocktails & Cupcakes and Burritos & Mojitos.
