Ovum AS

Ovum AS is a Norwegian limited company established in 2016. The company originated from Hauge Aqua AS, founded in 2012 by Cato Lyngy, Arthur Lyngy and Audun Dahl. The establishment in 2012 was driven by Cato Lyngys idea of a closed, floating facility shaped like an egg. The goal has always been to create an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative for fish farming. The technology division of Hauge Aqua, formerly known as Hauge Aqua Solutions, changed its name to Ovum AS in May 2022. This happened simultaneously with the launch of the very first Egget. The name reflects what we deliver. Ovum is a Latin word that means egg. After ten years of planning, we were finally able to introduce fish into the first Egget in October 2022. The experiences so far demonstrate significant potential. The experiences from the first fish group that lived in Egget show that the fish grew rapidly, the feed conversion ratio was low, there were no escapes, and almost no lice. Collection of o...
