The Overtown Children and Youth Coalition (OCYC) is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of the children and youth in Overtown, Miami. With a focus on education, mentorship, and empowerment, OCYC provides a safe and supportive environment for these young individuals to thrive. As the CEO of OCYC, I lead a passionate team in delivering a wide range of programs, including our signature initiatives: the Laptop Scholarship Program and the Im the Boss of My Life Conference. These initiatives aim to bridge the digital divide, empower students with technology, and equip them with essential life skills. Our organization is also proud to be the anchoring entity for several non-profits in the Overtown area, serving as a vital resource hub for the community.
