The Orange County Tax Collectors office has been independently elected since it was established in the Florida Constitution in 185. The framers believed that local taxes are best collected at the community level through a local, elected Tax Collector who is more responsive and accountable to the citizens of the communities in which they are elected. The Tax Collectors office is responsible to the citizens of Orange County for providing a wide range of services. The office collects and administers property taxes, tag & title registration, driver licenses and state IDs, business tax receipts and hunting & fishing licenses. These services are performed on behalf of more than 65 taxing authorities and state agencies. Tax Collector Scott Randolph is committed to operating the office in the most effective and efficient manner.
