In 1990, NOW THIS! began delighting audiences of all ages and interests with totally improvised spoofs of every style from opera to folk ballads, Shakespeare to Soaps. Every scene, melody and lyric was created, on the spot, from audience suggestions. We soon added an interactive musical childrens theatre, team building and custom-scripted murder mysteries. NOW THIS! has been featured at such distinguished venues as the Marquee Lounge, the Smithsonian, the Kennedy Center, the Palm Springs Convention Center, the Grand Casino Hotel in Biloxi, MS, The Corcoran Gallery of Art and a few places we can only describe as scary. Washingtonian Magazine calls us a Great night out and the Washington Post says If you can imagine it, NOW THIS! can sing about it. We have won the DC chapter of the International Special Event Societys ISES Award for Best Entertainment twice and the Esprit, the international version of that award.
