Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA)

NISRA is an extension of 13 member park districts or recreation department, providing community recreation for local children and adults with disabilities. We help participants develop skills, make new friends and have fun! NISRA serves communities in McHenry County and parts of Cook, Lake and Kane counties. Programs are offered in all of the member communities at public and commercial recreation facilities that include: Barrington, Cary, Crystal Lake, Dundee, Elgin, Hampshire, Harvard, Huntley, Lake in the Hills, Marengo, McHenry, Wauconda and Woodstock.
