NIKK

Nordic Information on Gender (NIKK) is a co-operation body under the Nordic Council of Ministers. We gather and communicate knowledge about policy and practice, and facts and research in the area of gender equality and equal rights for LGBTI people with a Nordic and cross-sectoral perspective. NIKKs areas of activity touch on some of the major challenges of our time, and are tied to the global sustainable development goals. The knowledge base we have is evidence-based and contributes to deepening Nordic and cross-sectoral perspectives in the area of gender equality and equal rights for LGBTI people. NIKK has a unique position in the Nordic region in that it complements efforts by national players. We co-operate with national and other Nordic actors, for example through joint events where we share knowledge.
