The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) Northwest London (NWL) was established in October 2008. CLAHRCs undertake high quality applied health research focused on the needs of patients and service users, and support the translation of research evidence into practice in the NHS and social care. CLAHRC NWL is part of the NIHR Infrastructure, hosted by Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the main academic partner is Imperial College London.
