Nick Rail Music

Nick Rail Music, established in Santa Barbara, California in 1986, is first and foremost a band and orchestral dealer, catering to both the school market and the private or professional musician. Our second store, Nick Rail Music/Agoura Hills opened in 1998, followed by stores in Santa Clarita, Redlands, San Diego and Bakersfield. Our most recent store addition was in 2020 in Camarillo, an exclusive orchestral strings shop: Penrose Strings by Nick Rail Music. We are the largest Yamaha band instrument dealer in the state, with franchises for virtually all other major name brands. Our percussion department covers concert, marching and drum set; we also carry acoustic guitars, electric guitars and basses, portable keyboards, sound reinforcement, and related products. Our stores offer accessories for all departments; our sheet music department specializes in instrument methods and jazz.
