NFG Brokerage

NFG Brokerage has been in operation for over 54 years. We began in 1958 as American International Marketing and Tax Planning Associates. Among the first insurance companies we began working with were American Western and Alexander Hamilton. Then, in 1982 Tax Planning Associates added Northwestern National Life as a primary carrier for our agents and agencies. Northwestern National Life would later changes its name to Reliastar which was purchased by ING in 1998. We continued to grow and we changed our name from Tax Planning Associates to Nelson Financial Group in 2005. In 2005 we also added AVIVA as a strategic relationship and new insurance company to meet the product demand or our growing agent and agency partners. As a result of our tremendous growth and growing demand for product and underwriting niches, Nelson Financial Group expanded its product offering by adding more than 12 insurance company relationships in 2010.
