New Pathways is a registered charitable company that provides a range of specialist counselling and advocacy services for women, men, children and young people who have been affected by rape or sexual abuse. We have many years of experience and are widely regarded throughout the UK as a leading organisation in our field. Our clients come from every walk of life and are of all ages. To date our youngest client has been three years of age and our oldest has been in their nineties. New Pathways was established in Merthyr Tydfil in 1993 as a helpline for female victims of rape. At the time it was operational for only a few hours each week and it was run entirely by volunteers. Over the years New Pathways has grown and diversified and we now offer a range of counselling, advocacy and support services for women, men, children and young people.
