The primary purpose of NILOA (National Intercollegiate Lacrosse Officials Organization) is to promote the sport of mens lacrosse at the collegiate level, by providing officials nationwide for USILA and MCLA games, by providing training, certification, services and representation for all mens collegiate officials, and by providing a forum to mens collegiate officials in which to raise their ideas and concerns. Central to the mission of NILOA is the establishment of relationships with the USILA, MCLA and NCAA and to provide certified officials to officiate games involving their member institutions within the appropriate rules and established mechanics
