Nanomedicine Lab 2.0

The Nanomedicine Lab 2.0 is made up of six research teams based across two locations (UoM in Manchester and ICN2 in Barcelona). Each team is led by a Faculty member or Senior Scientist and is building expertise and knowledge around a specific focal area of nanomedicine. Our research portfolio includes the discovery and preclinical development of nanomedicine constructs based on novel, advanced nanomaterials of synthetic and biological nature. Great emphasis is placed at the interplay between in vitro and in vivo studies and how rationally-designed and engineered nanoscale platforms can be safely translated into clinically effective therapeutics and diagnostics
