In the year 1957 the long cherished dream of the people of Modinagar was realized when Modi family founded the college in memory of Rai Bahadur Multanimal Modi who was a renowned philanthropist and educationist.The college began with a meager number of hundred students in the three streams of Arts Commerce and Science but gradually the number swelled up coming to around five thousand.
