Mlango Farm

The Mlango Farm is situated on a 25 acre plot in Ngecha, Limuru Area. The farm is run by Els Breet Kamande and many community members. Since 2007, the fertile but neglected farmland of Mlango was cleared and planted with fruit trees and vegetables. 10 Acres are now under irrigation. We aim at a sustainable way of farming, without using chemical pesticides or artificial fertilizers. In due time we hope to introduce ourselves as certified organic farmers. Visitors come to enjoy the educational farm for a great day out, we organize teambuilding days. We train local smallscale farmers on sustainable farming practices, and many schools from Nairobi visit the farm for educational school trips. Mlango Farm is also a host on Wwoof and Workaway, welcoming volunteers from all over the world to contribute skills and share knowledge
