Mission Brewery

Were San Diegos largest downtown craft brewery, located across the street from Petco Park in the East Village. Our historic building, built in 1894, touts enormous ceilings, wood pillars and original brick--giving us one of the most beautifully housed breweries in Southern California. Our name pays tribute to one of the citys first breweries (founded in 1913 and closed in 1919). We adopted the name in 2007 when our owner, Dan Selis, was ready to make his hobby of homebrewing into his profession. The acclaimed Mission beer list stretches from classic styles --Mission Hefeweizen, IPA, Blonde Ale and Amber -- to our growing armada of swashbuckling extreme beers. Our list of assertive beer includes Shipwrecked Double IPA, Carrack Imperial Red, Dark Seas Imperial Stout, and our super sessionable, low-ABV hop fix, El Conquistador.
