At the Migrants Resilience Collaborative (MRC), we are on a mission to catalyse systemic change and bridge gaps in social protection for migrant workers. Our collaborative approach brings together government bodies, NGOs, philanthropy, and the private sector to ensure internal migration is safe. MRC is incubated by Jan Sahas, Global Development Incubator, and EdelGive Foundation Why MRC? Millions of workers in India lack access to life-enhancing safety nets that protect them from going deeper into poverty. We launched MRC in 2020 to transform and strengthen Indias social protection delivery systems. Our two-pronged strategy provides last-mile access for vulnerable migrants while catalysing systemic change. We combine community-rootedness with rigorous technology and data analytics to drive impactful change.
