Mellow Parenting

Mellow Parenting is an NGO based in Scotland that researches, develops & implements evidence-based attachment programmes globally. We want every child, wherever they are in the world, to be part of a safe and nurturing family that will allow them and future generations the best possible start in life. The underpinning values are based on the psychological theories of attachment, social learning and cognitive behavioural therapy and focus on improving parent-child relationships, for either male or female caregivers, from the antenatal period up to age five. Early intervention and attuned parenting in the early years has a long term effect in all areas of a childs development All Mellow Parenting Programmes are thoroughly evaluated before being made available to services.
