McDonalds Kinderhilfe Stiftung

The McDonalds Kinderhilfe was founded in 1987. Since 2008 the help of the foundation is delivered through Ronald McDonald Houses, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. Furthermore the McDonalds Kinderhilfe develops, runs, and supports programs dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children. Ronald McDonald Houses offer families a temporary home so that they can stay in the proximity of a childrens hospital where their seriously ill child is undergoing treatment. Currently there are 22 Ronald McDonald Houses in Germany near to the childrens hospital. The foundation is part of the international Ronald McDonald House Charities with domicile in Chigago (USA), which operates more than 370 Ronald McDonald Houses and around 260 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in 45 countries.
