Maple Star Services

Maple Star was licensed in May 2004 and provides resource intensive service of Treatment Foster Care. The background and needs of the children/youth served include: -males and females with a history of physical or sexual abuse and neglect, and related social deficits; -males and females who have been abandoned by their parents or caregivers -medically fragile children and those with disabilities -youth requiring life skill training and transitional living in preparation for independent living Consistent with the mission of serving challenging youth who might otherwise be in a group home or residential facility, the program features small caseloads, and extensive support - child and youth workers, tutors, and generous wrap-around services plus clinical consultation with a child psychologist.
