Main Street Child Development Center

Founded in 1973, Main Street Child Development Center is a 501(c)(3)-registered nonprofit organization with a mission to provide high-quality, comprehensive early childhood education programs and support services for children and their families, regardless of financial circumstances. Our target population is low-income working families in the City of Fairfax and Fairfax County, Virginia. Each year, Main Street impacts the lives of 125 children (ages 2-5) in a full-day preschool program, 25 children (ages 5-10) in out-of-school-time programs for elementary school students, and 150 parents through engagement activities and adult education opportunities.
