LuxCSD

LuxCSD provides Luxembourgs financial community with services for settlement in EUR central bank money as well as with issuing and custody services for a wide variety of domestic and international securities including investment funds. In 2020, LuxCSD received its CSDR licence (Central Securities Depositories Regulation) aiming to increase the safety and efficiency of securities settlement and settlement infrastructures in the EU. As a central securities depository (CSD), LuxCSD offers custodian banks and distributors across Europe excellent custody and value-added services as well as a highly efficient settlement process with access to many counterparties. Settlement of securities transactions in central bank money reduces risk for financial market participants.
