Los Angeles Academy for Artists & Music Production

LAAMP, based in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, is a groundbreaking music education program for budding artists, songwriters and producers that wish to find their own artistic voice and create music without judgement - founded by Grammy-winning producers StarGate. The aim of LAAMP is to change how pop music creation is taught - not through classrooms , curriculum and theory, but through studio sessions and guidance from some of the most influential people in music. Our program includes on-site mentors from the pinnacle of their field, who work one-on-one with our exceptionally talented students. Music is produced on an ongoing basis in our 15 studios, creating a vibrant work environment literally buzzing with creativity. LAAMP is a new program, but draws from our experience of running the renowned Scandinavian pop music institute LIMPI for the past three years.
