Los Altos History Museum

Los Altos History Museum welcomes visitors of all ages to explore local history. Nestled in one of Santa Clara Valleys remaining heritage apricot orchards, the Museum offers award-winning exhibitions, community programs, and a picturesque garden for weddings and corporate events. Thanks to the generosity of members and donors, admission is free for all. Multiple exhibition spaces feature artifacts and stories that bring the areas evolution to life. The family-friendly Permanent Exhibition Making Connections: Stories from the Land delivers an immersive, interactive multimedia experience of the events that transformed the landscape and the people who shaped this area, from the Ohlone people, to Spanish & Mexican land grantees, early settlers, apricot growers, and todays Silicon Valley residents.
