The Lorentz Center organizes workshops in all scientific disciplines. The 5-day Lorentz Center workshop format, with ample time for discussions and collaboration, has proven to be especially suited for organizing interdisciplinary endeavors, including those bridging the arts and sciences. The Lorentz Center facilitates and funds international scientific workshops at two venues Lorentz Center@Oort, for up to 55 participants, and Lorentz Center@Snellius, for up to 25 participants; both in Leiden, the Netherlands.
