Architects often face conflicts between construction development and environment protection, and between commercial profits and their philosophy of life. With passion for architecture and social responsibilities, LKP ARCHITECTURE was officially established in 2000. Since then, it has been re-assessing the role of architectural firms from various angles. It aims to create projects that set the benchmark of the era with its international teams. In the same year, the financial crisis struck globally and impacted on the Taiwanese building industry. LKP consequently evaluated alternative operation models and decided to expand its business to mainland China. LKP had 4 offices located in Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai and Xian.
