Liga Deportiva Universitaria de Quito often referred to as LDU Quito, or Liga de Quito, or simply la Liga is an Ecuadorian professional football club based in Quito, Ecuador. They play in the Serie A, the highest level of the Ecuadorian professional football league. LDU Quito is is the current Serie A champion, having won the 2010 season. Their national title count is at ten trophies, which places them third overall. Other domestic titles include two Serie B titles, a record six professional Inter-Andean titles, and three amateur Pichincha titles. They are the two-time current holder Recopa Sudamericana, having won the competition in 2009 and 2010. It was the first Ecuadorian club to win the Copa Libertadores (where it became the first Ecuadorian club to win an international tournament) and the first Ecuadorian club to the win the Copa Sudamericana.
