Which is why our Foundation is powered by inspired individuals and dedicated small teams. The Lewis Pugh Foundation convenes NGOs, governments, scientific institutions and concerned citizens around the world, uniting them around our common cause. And we get results. Our campaigns make a tangible difference. All of them are centred on our oceans. To date we have helped protect over 2,2 million km2 of ocean, and were not stopping there. Life as we know it first began in the oceans, and all life fundamentally relies on them. But beyond what they can do for us, the oceans have their own intrinsic value.
