Land Manor, Inc. (Chemical Dependency and HIV services)

Land Manor, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded in 1969 in Beaumont, Texas. After 46 years, our mission remains the same: to assist individuals to live independently within the confines of their particular disability by providing services which enable them to address those needs. Our company was founded in 1969 by a Corporate Board of Directors and an Executive Director. The Executive Director was a local citizen who saw a need within the community and had a vision of opening a facility to serve those with mental health issues. A residential facility was opened, beginning with six clients. Much of the original funding to open the first programs originated from donations (monetary and buildings). Land Manor, Inc. receives the majority of its funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, with ancillary funding from the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services.
