Lakeview Camp and Retreat Center was the longtime vision of Derwood DuBose, who served as Superintendent of the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. Through prayer, obedience to the vision God had given, and the support of countless believers longing for God to use them to reach the world for Christ, the gates opened in 1997. Since then, Lakeview has continued to make improvements and additions to become a premier camp, retreat, and conference facility.
