Lakeland Networks

In 2000, Lakeland Energy Ltd. (LEL) was founded as a company to support a few distinct opportunities. LELs interests vary from: handling the maintenance and repair of our municipalitys streetlights; tankless and conventional water heater rentals; and ISP connectivity/fibre optic networking. The driving force behind the launch of our fibre network was to improve our internal level of communications between sites. Once our needs were met, we knew other businesses were in the same position of requiring high bandwidth and a level of security that can only come from fibre optics. Lakeland Energys mandate was to create a fibre network throughout Muskoka and be able to support all businesses with competitive offerings with Fibre networks speeds in excess of 100Mbps.
