The Laboratory of Food Process Engineering is one of the chair groups of Wageningen University & Research. We explore new principles for the production of food that are significantly more sustainable and at the same time contribute to a tasty and healthy diet. Our scientists work on: an improved understanding of the dynamics of dispersed fluids and solids (relevant to food production) The translation of the insight gained towards processes for sustainable production of foods and food ingredients.
