Kietta is set to revolutionize the marine seismic acquisition market with the deployment of the Midwater Stationary Cable concept, called FreeCableTM. Our proprietary Recording Autonomous Vehicles (RAV) position and maintain an array of 4C cables at depths ranging from 5 to 150m (ideally 100m), while providing power to the cable and its patented ballast system and recording the data before transmitting it in real time to the control vessel. The shooting vessel(s) sail shot lines perpendicular to the cables, delivering high-density, full azimuth, full offset broadband and low noise data with incomparable productivity and reliability. The system is capable of operating in close proximity to obstacles and production facilities, making it ideal for reservoir characterization and 4D acquisition projects.
