KID is a nationally accredited agency dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, the preservation of the family, and the treatment of abused and neglected children. Founded in 1979, KID started as a shelter for abused and neglected children. During its 43 operational years, KID has grown to include two campuses in Broward County, and a foster care office in Palm Beach County. In 2019, KID acquired Family Central, Inc.
