Karyer Makine was founded in 1953 by Zeki Yerdelen in Ankara, and it later established its headquarters in Istanbul with an additional branch in Ankara. For the past 70 years, Karyer has been actively involved in the field of heavy construction, underground mining and industrial machinery in Turkey. As the sole authorized representative of Bomag Road Rollers and Road Machines for the past 50 years, Karyer has emerged as the market leader in its sector. On the other hand, Tatmak Makine initially ventured into the business material handling equipment and in 1977, it introduced LINDE Forklifts, renowned worldwide, to the Turkish market for the first time and served as the Turkish representative of Linde Forklifts for many years. In 1972, Erman Yerdelen brought Putzmeister Concrete Pumps to the Turkish market for the first time, which eventually led to domestic production in Turkey from 1976 onwards, spanning a remarkable 30-year period.
